Mithila Tourism – Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It’s known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Itineraries

Day 1

Cochin

Kochi (Kochi) is the palm-green commercial town of Kerala and the city consists of the mainland Ernakulam, Fort Cochin. Ernakulam is a modern city where the shopping market, bazaar etc are located. From time immemorial, Arab, Chinese, Dutch and British and Portuguese seafarers followed the sea route to Kochi and left their impression on the town. The Chinese fishing nets swaying in the breeze over backwaters, the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Portuguese architecture, Hill Palace in Kochi enrich the heritage of Kerala. Overnight stay at Cochin.

Day 2

Cochin – Athirampally – Cochin

After Breakfast proceed to Athirampally Waterfalls. Athirappally Waterfalls is located 80 kms from Kochi (Cochin), located at the entrance to Sholayar ranges, Athirappally Falls is about 80 feet high and located in the forest area. Combined with the greenery, it infuses freshness into any tired soul. The Athirapally Falls join the Chalakkudy River after plummeting a drop of 80 feet. A tranquil and much needed escape from the troubles and stress of life. Let the soothing sounds take you to some of nature’s most relaxing places - the beautiful waterfalls of Athirampally The charm of the Athirampally nature cannot be described by words, starting calmly from the high ranges, and crashing through gorges overhung with trees, this waterfall is one of the best places in India to re-capture a real sense of the classical idea of the 'Picturesque' - not just calm and sweet, but something wild and natural. Day 3

Cochin – Munnar

After breakfast proceed for Munnar. Munnar a misty, lush green hill station up in the Annamalai range of Kerala, Munnar's tea gardens, some of the highest in the world, stretch up the sides of the hills and are interspersed with pockets of forest rich in wildlife. Reach and check-in to your pre-booked Resort by afternoon. On your holiday, enjoy the scenic beauty of Munnar with its marvelous waterfalls, lush tea gardens and high mountains with low flying clouds. Munnar, once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Govt. in South India, is located at the confluence of 03 reverses the very name signifies. The sprawling tea plantations and picturesque towns make Munnar a popular hill resort town in South India. Today you will Visit Mattupetty for boating, Kundala dam, Eco-point, Top station, Indo-Swiss cattle farm etc... Rajamala and Eravikulam National Park. Evening if interested you can also visit Pallivasal waterfalls and Blossom Park. Return to the resort for a dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

Munnar

Day 5

Munnar - Thekkady

After Breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Thekkady, Drive through one of those most picturesque hill highways of Kerala. Thekkady is set in the heart of the Cardamom and Pepper Hills of Kerala; this is otherwise the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. Periyar has one of the world's most fascinating Natural wildlife reserves noted for its geography, diverse wildlife and scenic beauty. Apart from the wildlife, this region harvests the best quality spices including Cardamom, Pepper and also tea. Evening go for a walk at the Periyar Wild life sanctuary and later for a boating at the Periyar Lake. This wildlife offers you a rare opportunity to enjoy south’s wildlife. Enjoy this boat safari on Periyar Lake to view the varied wildlife of this region. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Thekkady - Alleppey

After Breakfast check out from Hotel drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is one of the most important tourist centers in the state, with a large network of inland canals earning it the sobriquet "Venice of the east". These large networks of canals provide Alleppey its lifeline. Alleppey was one of the busiest centers of trade in the past with one of the best known ports along the Malabar Coast. Even today it retains its charm as the centre for Coir carpet industries and prawn farming. Alleppey the ideal headquarters for backwater tourism as well as for visits to the lovely church filled town of Kottayam, and the town of Aranmula, famous for its historic Aranmula Snake Boat Race which is an annual event.

Day 7

Departure

After breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Trivandrum/Cochin Airport / Railway Station for your onward destination.
